FLIR Introduces FLIR Scout TK Thermal Vision Monocular
at IWA Outdoor Classics 2016

FLIR also showcases award-winning FLIR Scout II model

WILSONVILLE, OR – March, 1, 2016 – FLIR Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: FLIR) is introducing its new Scout TK thermal vision monocular to a European audience at this year’s IWA Outdoor Classics exhibition in Nuremberg, Germany from 4 to 7 March 2016. The company will also showcase its field-proven and award-winning FLIR Scout II model. Both products show FLIR’s strong commitment to the outdoor enthusiast and provide a taste of the company’s broad range of thermal night vision products for hunting and outdoor applications.

The FLIR Scout TK thermal vision monocular, the smallest and lightest camera in the FLIR Scout series, is developed specifically for outdoor enthusiasts. Pocket-sized and designed for one-handed use, the Scout TK allows consumers to see in total darkness and become better aware of their surroundings. With more than five hours of battery life, the Scout TK detects body heat of people and animals from a distance up to 90 meters away, or helps identify key landmarks. Whether camping, fishing, or hiking, the rugged Scout TK provides users with the power to fully explore and visualize their surroundings regardless of the environmental conditions.

The FLIR Scout II is a rugged, compact thermal night vision camera built for the great outdoors. Scout II detects the heat signatures of animals and people from a distance up to 550 meters away, depending on model and presents crisp and clear thermal imagery on a 640 x 480 pixel LCD screen. Also thanks to the additional video out (320 model) and a choice of magnifications, Scout II empowers outdoor enthusiasts to experience wild places like never before.

The FLIR Scout TK will be available in EMEA from 1 April 2016 onwards at MSRP EURO €533, GBP £414, USD $599 (ex. VAT). Consumers can pre-register for the product at www.flir.com/scouttk. You can learn more about this product introduction at FLIR’s press event on 5 March 2016, at 2 pm, at IWA Outdoor Classics 2016 in Hall 4A, booth 205.
