Submission of the application does not guarantee admission into the program. Each FIG will have a cap of 20 students. If your first preference is filled, you will be considered for one of the others. Notifications of acceptance will be sent out as applications are received.

In order for the application to be considered, students must have already paid their $300 enrollment deposit fee at: enrollmentfee.missouri.edu.

I also agree to complete surveys and informational queries that may be sent to me in the upcoming semesters at MU to help gauge my satisfaction with the program and to collect important data on its success. Grades will be collected each semester and used to track success of participants as a whole compared to biology majors who do not participate. We will be exploring long-term retention results in the major, gpa and graduation rates for publication.

Priority Deadline:

Students who apply before March 23, 2017 will be given priority consideration for admittance to the program. After being notified that you have been accepted into the program, the $225 program fee must be paid by May 1, 2017 to secure the spot. Students applying from March 23rd – June 30th 2017 will be waitlisted for the program and notified of acceptance if seats are still available. Payments for those applying after the priority deadline are due within 15 business days after notification of acceptance.
