2)  Booking and Payment

By completing and submitting this registration form to GIC you have made a binding registration for China (Beijing) International Offshore Oil & Gas Technology Conference and Exhibition 2012. Both space fees and conference fees (hereinafter as “participation fee”) are due immediately upon receipt of the invoice issued by the organizer and forwarded by GIC via Email. All the payments should be settled within two weeks after receiving the invoice. All banking expenses shall be borne by the applicant.

3)  Cancellation of Participation

To cancel participation, the applicant needs to notify the organizer in written form. Failure to make payment does not be regarded as a cancellation. If the cancellation is made on or before September 15th, 2012, 50% of the participation fee will be returned. If the cancellation is made after September 15th, 2012, the payments made by the applicant will not be returned. The termination comes into effect on the date the organizer receives the written notification.

4)  Termination of Contract by the Organizer

The organizer will terminate the contract without notice with the applicant that fails to make payment before the agreed deadline. The organizer has the right to forbid such applicants from moving in to set up booths as well as entering the conference hall.

5)  Booths Allocation

Booths allocations are made by the organizer according to the nature of exhibits or other rules. The organizer will inform exhibitors the locations of their booths which are not subject to change.

6)  IPR/Copyright

Exhibitors make sure that their exhibits, packing and advertising/publicity materials do not infringe on the IPRs of any third parties including registered or other acknowledged trademarks, copyrights, designs, names and patents. The organizer has the right to ban the exhibitors’ participation in its future events if they are found to have committed infringements.

7)  Exhibit and Exhibitor Profiles

All exhibits must be within the profiles stipulated for the event. The organizer has the right to remove exhibits which are beyond the profiles.

8)  The settlement of disputes:

Any dispute arising from or in connection with this registration form should be solved by friendly negotiations. In case no settlement is reached, the dispute shall be submitted to Beijing Arbitration Commission for arbitration in accordance with its rules of arbitration in effect at the time of applying for arbitration. The place of arbitration shall be Beijing. Both parties agree in common that the Dispute has to be settled using the English language and Chinese Language. The arbitral award is final and binding upon both parties.

9)  Disclaimer

The applicant confirms herewith to be aware that GIC is only authorized and responsible for the coordination of the invitation of attendees for and on behalf of the organizer and GIC shall not be held responsible for any claims, liabilities and damages relating to the organization and operation of the conference and exhibition.
