Education & Experience Equivalency Description

Peerless provides only personnel who meet or exceed the minimum qualification requirements described in the labor category descriptions. Peerless does allow applicable education to substitute for experience and specific experience to substitute for a degree. Peerless’ standard for substitution education or experience is:

•Education Substituted for Experience: Formal education may substitute for experience. Each formal degree (i.e., Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D.) may substitute for four (4) years of experience. An Associate Degree may substitute for two (2) years experience. In instances where an Associate degree is required but the employee possesses a Bachelors degree, the employee will be credited with two additional years of general experience.

•Experience Substituted for Education: Specialized experience may substitute for formal education. Two years of experience may substitute for an Associate Degree. Four years of experience may substitute for a Bachelor Degree.
