SIMPLE GUIDE TO REGISTRATION

When Can I Register?

To Check Your Registration Status (including day/time to register):

  1. Go to
  2. Visit yourMyPacePortal located in the A to Z link or under ‘Current Students’ tab
  3. Enter your username and password
  4. Click the ‘Students’ tab
  5. Select the ‘Registration, Grades and Tuition Schedule’ link
  6. Under the ‘Registration’ tab select ‘Check Your Registration Status’
  7. Select the appropriate term and click “Submit”
  8. Your registration date and time will be displayed
  9. *Make sure to check back frequently to ensure that your time slot has not changed*

Where Do I Find My Classes (Before Registration Opens)?

To Look Up Courses (before your permitted registration time):

  1. Visit your MyPace Portal located in the A to Z link or under ‘Current Students’ tab
  2. Enter your username and password
  3. Click the ‘Students’ tab
  4. Choose the ‘Schedule Explorer’ link
  5. Select the term you are registering for
  6. Select the “Undergraduate” Level
  7. You can then select a specific subject you want to take or choose “All subjects”
  8. **Note** Under the ‘additional’ column select the “Pleasantville” campus (otherwise you may accidentally sign up for a NYC class)
  9. You can further narrow your search by selecting an attribute youare looking to fulfill (AOK I, II, III, Writing Enhanced, etc.); you can also choose the Course Number you are looking for, as well as day, time or instructor
  10. Search available courses; You will be provided with a list of the courses that meet your search that are offered that semester
  11. Keep track of the CRN numbers of the courses you would like to add to your schedule (**You will need these when registering**)
  12. **Note**To ensure that there is no prerequisite for the class you wish to take, click on the “more info” option for full details about the course

Where Do I Find My Classes (After Registration Opens)?

To Look Up Courses (at your permitted registration time):

  3. Enter your username and password
  4. Click the ‘Students’ tab
  5. Select the ‘Registration, Grades and Tuition Schedule’ link
  6. Under the ‘Registration’ tab, select “Class Schedule”
  7. Choose the appropriate term and click “Submit”
  8. Select “Advanced Search”
  9. On the next screen, choose the subject you are looking for
  10. You may enter the Course Number if your advisor provided you with one
  11. **Note** Under the ‘additional’ column select the “Pleasantville” campus (otherwise you may accidentally sign up for a NYC class)
  12. Select the “Undergraduate” Course Level
  13. You may insert a specific day, timeframe and/or instructor you would prefer
  14. Click ‘Section Search’
  15. The next screen will provide you with a list of classes that meet your selected criteria
  16. When you have found a course you want to take, click the box on the left and select “Add to Worksheet”
  17. You will then be registered for that course and continue to add classes to your schedule

Where Do I Register For Classes?

Registering

  1. Visit your MyPace Portal located in the A to Z link or under ‘Current Students’ tab
  2. Enter your username and password
  3. Click the ‘Students’ tab
  4. Select the ‘Registration, Grades and Tuition Schedule’ link
  5. Under the ‘Registration’ tab select “Register, Add or Drop Classes”
  6. Select the term you are registering for
  7. Scroll down the page to ‘Add Classes Worksheet’
  8. Insert the CRN numbers of the class you want to take
  9. Click, “I Agree”
  10. **Note**If there are any issues, such as: class is full, a prerequisite is required, a class conflicts with another you have selected, etc., an error message will appear on the next screen
