UF Pre-medical AMSA 2012-2013: Director Application

The first 3 pages of this application are for your benefit. Please read thoroughly, but do not turn in this initial portion.

We’re glad you are interested in joining the Directors Board for Premed AMSA. These positions are very rewarding but also require a lot of time and energy. Please seriously evaluate your plans for next year before committing yourself to a leadership position. Due to our size and level of activity, we must ask that all applicants prioritize their position in Premed AMSA over any other leadership positions they may have. Unfortunately there are both pros and cons to being such a sizeable association so we need you all to make it run as well as it can! All Directors and Associate Directors will be required to attend ALL general meetings, ALL director’s meetings (held the Sunday evening before each general meeting), HCC, MCF, (1 of 2) the banquet, one office hour per week, one Concessions date and any other events the Executive Board deems necessary. This is just a very basic outline of the requirements. There are, of course, many other requirements necessary to ensure a smooth efficient year. Below, you will find brief descriptions of what you are going for!

*Note that certain responsibilities for each position CHANGE YEARLY! Please do not use this previous year as the absolute gauge of your committee’s activities and responsibilities. Responsibilities and activities are, as always, subject to change (addition or removal).
