- Download and complete the study questions on my website.
- Review Frankenstein background notes (the one with Mary Shelley’s biography, themes, symbols and important concepts). The answers to many of the questions on this handout can be found in this information.
- Make a timeline of events in the novel.
- Make a chart of the key characters and how they are related. Also make sure you know what specifically happens to each character.
- Write out some of the key quotes related to each character AND review the quote sheets you’ve completed
- Review your discussion questions (Socratic seminar).

- Who are antithetical characters in the novel? What are some antithetical concepts that the creature learns about?

- Name ONE of the authors Victor becomes fascinated with as a child.
- What effect does seeing a violent thunderstorm have on Victor as a child?
- What qualities does Henry have that are lacking in Victor?
