ELIGIBILITY: / Open to junior golfers who are between the ages of 8 and 18. Both junior and Adult (except golf professionals) must be SCGA Members (on a SCGA Handicap Roster- Divisions are pre-flighted based on handicap).
ENTRIES: / Entries must be filed on attached formand received by 5:00 p.m. on November 27, 2014. One entry fee covers both events. Cart and range fees are covered by the entry fee as well!! Field will be limited to 64 teams. Priority will be given by 1)Teams that are comprised of parent-junior, 2) date of entry. Teams will be pre flighted by the following method (2 x lower handicap + higher handicap) / 3; this is why we need both players to be on a handicap roster.
FORMAT / Ford Adult (Priority will be given to teams that have either parent, Gaurdian, or step-parent)/Junior: USGA rules apply, 18-hole select drive, alternate shot, stroke play. A junior may play with another adult if either parent is unable to play. Juniors will compete from the tees listed below, except those competing for the Championship. Flights will be based on the team's handicap determination listed above. Flights and divisions will be determined based on participation. To compete for the Championship, teams must play the BLACK tees.
Picard Junior:USGA rules apply. Siblings of parent -junior contestants may play based upon availability. Stroke play, 5 age groups from the following tees:

SCHEDULE: / December 20 10:00 am Shotgun - Ford Parent/Junior Championship
Awards presentation ~ (Carts, Range,Food and Beverage provided)
December 21 9:00 am Shotgun - Links Course Picard Junior Championship and awards
PRACTICE: / Each adult/junior team is entitled to 1 practice round based upon availability at a reduced rateof $50.00 per player (Normal rate is $130.00!) Arrangements must be made through the golf shop (843)-886-2180.
LODGING: / Rooms are available at the Boardwalk Inn, a four star hotel, for a special $99 per night (regular rate $250).Call 843-886-2255. Two bedroom villas are also available as a special rate for the Ford Picard.
CARTS: / Cart fees are included in the entry fee and spectator carts may be rented for the junior portion of the championship.
REFUND POLICY:
 / A full refund will be given if SCJGA receives verified notice by December 13. No refunds after December 13.
