The Office of Financial Aid must confirm your statement that you are an eligible non-citizen. You must submit proof of your non-citizen eligibility to Georgia Piedmont Technical College.

Please submit a copy of one of the following:

• Alien Registration Receipt Card (I-551)

• Conditional Permanent Resident Card (I-551C)

• Arrival/Departure Record (I-94) with one of the following designations:

o Refugee

o Asylum Granted

o Indefinite Parole

o Humanitarian Parole

o Cuban/Haitian Entrant

If you are in the United States on a F1 or F2 student visa or J1 or J2 Exchange Visitor Visa or a G Series Visa or Employment Authorization only, you are not eligible for federal or state student aid.

The documentation that you submit must support the date that you became an eligible non-citizen of the United States. If you are now a citizen, please submit your Naturalization Certificate.
