A RESOLUTION adjourning the House of Representatives in loving memory and honor of Walter H. Jackson.
With deepest respect and admiration, we pay homage and tribute to Walter H. Jackson, and we pause in silent reverence for his soul.
WHEREAS, Walter H. Jackson was born on November 11, 1938, a native of Pryorsburg, Graves County, Kentucky, and he traversed these earthly bounds on February 4, 2000; and
WHEREAS, Walter H. Jackson was the loving son of the late Henry and Ethel Howle Jackson; and he was also preceded in death by four brothers and one sister; he was the devoted husband of Jo Ann Champion Jackson; he was the loving father of two daughters, Lisa Jackson Stevens and Anita Jackson; and three sons, Mark H. Jackson, Rickey L. Jackson and Shane Jackson; he was the caring brother of two sisters, Hallie Cannon and Wilma Sealy; and he was the proud grandfather of five grandchildren; and
WHEREAS, Walter H. Jackson was a member of Mount Olive Methodist Church and Wingo Masonic Lodge 448 F&AM 32nd Degree; he retired from General Tire Company after 25 years of service, and he served his country with distinction in the United States Air Force; and
WHEREAS, all who knew and admired Walter H. Jackson will grieve over their loss, and he is mourned across the length and breadth of the Commonwealth;
NOW, THEREFORE,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky:

Section 1. This honorable body does hereby express its profound sense of sorrow upon the passing of Walter H. Jackson and extends to his family and many friends its most heartfelt sympathy.
Section 2. When the House of Representatives adjourns this day, it does so in loving memory and honor of Walter H. Jackson.
Section 3. The Clerk of the House of Representatives is hereby directed to transmit a copy of this Resolution to Mrs. Jo Ann Champion Jackson, 468 Alexander Loop, Mayfield, Kentucky 42066.
