Invitational Livestock Judging Contest
2015 Livestock Judging Rules
Date: Friday, February 13, 2015
Location: Bell County Expo, Belton Texas
Entry Fee: $10.00 per person
Registration: Registration will be from 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. at Livestock Show Arena, Building C
There will be no pre-registration. Open to any and all 4-H Clubs and FFA Chapters in Texas.
Individuals who wish to compete without a team are welcome.
Contest Begins: 8:00 a.m.
Contest Results: 1:00 p.m. in Building C, Bell County Expo

Teams may consist of four members, with the three highest scores being used. There will
be a junior division (8th grade and below), and a senior division (9th-12th grade). In order
for junior members to qualify for High Point Awards, they should not be placed on a Senior Team.
The number of teams entered per chapter/club is unlimited.
The Livestock Judging Contest will consist of the following:
• 8 Classes and 2 Questions Class
There will be ten (10) minutes allowed for each class.

Scantrons will be used and will be provided by the Bell County Youth Fair at registration.
Awards will be as follows:
Overall: Plaques for the top five teams (per team) in each age group (2ND – 5th)
Plaques for 1st place team members and Plaque for 1st place team coach
Special Award for the high point overall individual, (junior and senior age divisions).
The top ten individuals in each specie division (beef, sheep, goats, swine) will receive awards.
