Class 1101 – Beef Heifer Commercial
Class 1101A – Beef Heifer Registered Other Breeds
Class 1101B – Beef Heifer Registered Angus
Lot 0–Spring Calf – January 1 – April 30, 2018
Lot 1–Fall Calf – September 1 – December 31, 2017
Lot 2–Summer Yearling – May 1 – August 31, 2017
Lot 3–Junior Yearling – January 1 – April 30, 2017
Lot 4–Senior Yearling – September 1 – December 31, 2016
Class 1102 – Market Beef
Lot 1–Steer – must have been born January1 – August 31, 2017
Lot 2–Heifer – must have been born January 1 – August 31, 2017
Class 1103 – Dairy Beef – Steers entered in this class can be 100% one dairy breed (Ayrshire, Brown Swiss, Guernsey,
Holstein, Jersey, etc.) orNEW IN 2010 — A CROSSBRED DAIRY STEER option has been added. Crossbred Diary Steers must be from the following breeds in any combination: Ayrshire, Brown Swiss, Guernsey, Holstein, Jersey, Milking Shorthorn, Montebeliarde, Normande, Red & White Holsteins, Norwegian Red and Viking Red (Swedish, Danish & Finnish Red) Any dairy steers crossed with beef must show as a beef steer.
Lot 1–Steer – must have been born after January 1 – August 31, 2017
Class 1104 – Cow/Calf Commercial
Class 1104A – Cow/CalfRegistered Other Breeds
Class 1104B – Cow/Calf Registered Angus
Lot 1–Cow/Calf pairs (both the cow and the calf are exhibited) – calves must be born on or after January 1, 2017
Judging will be based on visual characteristics and performance data of the cow/calf pair.
Class 1105A – Prospect Market Calves ~ will be judged as feeder calves; performance data will not be used
Lot 1–Steer Calf – Born January 1– April 30, 2018 –must be castrated; bull calves are not eligible for this class
Lot 2–Heifer Calf – Born January 1 – April 30, 2018
Class 1105B – Prospect Market Calves ~ will be judged as feeder calves; performance data will not be used, can be purebred or
crossbred as stated in dairy beef class, 1103 above.
Lot 1–Dairy Steer– Born January 1 – April 30, 2018–must be castrated; bull calves are not eligible for this class
Class 1106 – Showmanship(Based on Age) ~ There is no fee for participation in this class.

Prizes will be awarded as follows:
First, second and third places will be awarded in each lot. Premiums will be given based on ribbons. Grand and Reserve Champion in each of the following classes will receive a plaque: 1101, 1101A, 1101B, 1102, 1103, 1104, 1104A, 1104B, 1105A and 1105B. The Grand Champion in Lots 1, 2 and 3 of Class 1106 will receive a CMCA jacket.
NOTICE: Animals may not be removed from the show grounds until after the showmanship contest is completed or you will be forfeiting any awards. Premiums must be picked up after the show; no premiums will be mailed out.
