General Information

I live near Oslo , Norway. On a daily basis I work part time as a controller in a Publishingcompany. Recently I opened my own shoe store in the local mall.

I got my first sighthound in 1978, an Afghan Hound. In 1981 my first whippet arrived.From that and until I attained my license in 2005, I showed a lot of different sighthound breedsfor other people in Norway and abroad.When I started judging I was not allowed to dothat anymore.I travel a lot around showing my dogs, both in Scandinavia and Europe. It so interesting to see and followdogs in other countries.

Experience

It all really took off with the whippets when I got Play Mec Du Manoir de la Grenouillere in 1999.
From him I got my Multi Ch SunaRegens Blossoms Keyzer.Mother was NZ import Ronndal Oozing Style.
Not only was he a very successful Show dog with a lot of titles both in Scandinavia and abroad,but
also a stud dog who has had such an influence on the breed her in Scandinavia. To mention from his
first litter in Sweden , Ch KhalibadhSnøgubbe, who has been a very successful stud dog
and used by some of Swedens top breeders. In Latvia Lancar whippets started up with
Mikke`s children. At Sandline in Belgium I took Sandline First Lady as a mating puppy.
I will never forget the World show in Stockholm in 2008 when she was BOB from
intermediate class and his son Farytail The Fragrance of Gold was best male.
In his last litter with Ch Barnesmore Luck O`The Irish I kept Multi Ch Xploring Xmas Gift, who also
has proven himself as a stud dog. He has a lot of beautiful daughters. One of them,
Ch Linrow`s Cafe Con Leche, became Nordic Winner in Finland recently at just 2 years old.
I started to breed in co ownership in 2005 under the prefix Xploring and for the first litter we
were lucky to borrow Mikkes sister, Ch SunaRegens Blossoms Keylinn. She was mated
to Ch Plumcreek Holloway Go Forth and got 5 puppies. Four of them became champions.
We had four more litters together and some more champions.
But it did not work out and that is why I now co operate with several breeders
and try to find good combinations with the boys. The last combination we did, was to
inseminate Ch Linrow`s Irish Pleasure, daughter of Barnesmore Tiger Orchid, with frozen semen from Mikke.
We got four beautiful puppies who are 10 months now and the boy I kept, Linrow`s Hall of Fame to PlayMec ,
already has won CC both in Norway and Sweden.
I also have to mention my Ch. Barnesmore Tiger Orchid ( Ch BarnesmoreGallileo x Ch Barnesmore Black Orchid )
He has also produced some really nice children. So far Ch Linrow`s Irish Pleasure is the most well known. I showed her to Whippet of the Year in Norway in 2011.
I am a co owner in a couple of bitches from my boys and hopefully I will have some puppies soon in my
prefix - PlayMec. I only have had a chihuahua litter until now.
It was natural for me to finish Greyhound as my second breed in the Sighthound group. I have shown a lot of Jet greyhounds during the years and I also follow Espen and Karis puppies from several litters growing up.
I love the breed and like to follow it.
I will soon also finish Irish Wolfhound and Scottish Deerhound.
