Description / Bequests:
- to son Joseph Gill in trust for the sole use of Elizabeth Liddicoat, testator’s daughter, £40 to be managed by said Joseph Gill ‘for the benefit and comfort of the said Elizabeth without being subject to the power or control of her presant [sic] or any future Husband or any other Person’. The legacy to be paid at or before the end of one year from testator’s death
- to Jane Pinch, granddaughter, £40 at the end of one year after death of testator, also a piece of bed furniture, ‘which I have now by me, the quantity of thirty yards or therabouts’
- to Joseph Gill, son, all that is growing in her garden at the time of her decease, also her tenement call Brinn in the parish of Roche, and a bed, to him his executors and administrators
- the residue of the estate to sons Joseph and Richard Gill, daughters Mary Hawke and Ann Pollock, and the children of her late son Michael Gill, to share and share alike in their father’s part, but her son Joseph Gill is not to have a share in the tenement of Halwick. If Mary Hawke dies her share to go unimpaired (excepting any loss from the leasehold tenement) to her daughter, Mary Hawke the younger, and then to her children in like manner.
