Public Comment
With many individuals in attendance, went around the room to offer individuals the opportunity to ask questions and/or raise concerns:
Sgt. Meyer would like to develop a list of individuals who may need increased support or assistance during power outages, storms, etc. May be a good article for the paper.
Agnus from Chistochina. MSTHC has received funds for mitigation plan. Hope to start attending regularly to learn more about LEPC and how to begin the plan.
CRNA is planning to purchase two air beam shelters that are inflatable and insulated that can shelter up to 25 people each.
PWSCC sponsoring Youth mental health First Aid August 15th.
CREMS will be holding EMT II class in March
Bill Hand is now the Tribal administrator for Village of Kluti-Kah. Working to make the community center a clean air shelter with two generators.
Travis Million spoke about the article on generators. Will also be printed in the Copper River Record.
Bob Cyr working to develop site maps for AST, first responders, and fire departments
Jason Severs would like to remind individuals to plow so that emergency vehicles have access to property, if needed. Glen Rich Fire Dept. has a plow truck. Perhaps a newspaper article stressing this and identifying who might be able to plow in an emergency (i.e. Terry Valentine, jack Jones, etc).
