1. Vocabulary- TWL use the cloze procedure to complete sentences using vocabulary words.
Tuesday, December 8, 2015 / Writing
Reading
Grammar / 1. Bell work- plural form, sentence structure
2. OBJECTIVE- Use a rubric to grade student essays
3. Whole- in pairs, TLW grade each essays using a rubric
4. **STATIONS**
5. Exit- I can improve my essay by… / Essential Question: Discuss with your partner what you admired about their text and one critique to help them with their next essay. / 2. Comprehension- TLW highlight, read, and comprehend questions related to the text. TLW answer each question in a complete sentence by flipping the question into a statement.
Wednesday, December 9, 2015 / Universal Screener testing / testing / 3. Writing- “Pass It Back” TLW be given a prompt. TLW write for 3 minutes. TLW pass back their paper, read what was given to them, and continue writing for 3 more minutes. This process continues until they receive their original paper.

Reading
Grammar / 1. Bell work- context clues, verb tenses
2. OBJECTIVE- read a text from TNCore and grade essays using the rubric in pairs

4. Exit- summarize text read. / Essential Question- Trace the main idea and detail from the text.
