ENTERING WORK INTO THE VRS

Full Deletes in 2n1

Voters who request to be removed from the rolls are deleted in BOTH2n1 and AS/400. Voters can fill out a “Form to be removed from the Voter Registration roll” which we have in-house (see next page) or request by mail in writing, or online and on our website.

Caution should be used when deleting a voter’s record. It is important to take the time to ensure the correct voter is being removed.

Click on the Delete tab as shown below, enter in the voter ID# or SSN once the record shows, click on the Delete tab, then choose “both”.

FULL DELETES – CONTINUED

Click on the reason for deletion:

A printout will be waiting to print in the “print single sheet” tab with the deletion reason at the top.Your initials and date will be in a box at the upper right corner of the print out. Cut and file the printout in the delete basket along with proper documentation. Print the leader sheet and paper clip it to the rest of the documentation for filing and scanning.

NOTE: Voters who have moved out of State can only be removed by the State Board of Elections. Management will fax the request to the SBOE when one is received by mail.

Notice of Removal from Voter:

This form is used if a voter comes to the office to request to be removed or calls, we can mail this to the voter and now can be found online on our website. It should be prepared and filed in the Delete basket.

Any time a voter requests to be removed it must be scanned with the print out from the full delete.
