Job Description
Background: The role of Digital Solutions Manager is a demanding and exciting role within a busy creative team, taking the lead in delivering exemplary quality work and striving for excellence while dealing with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
Job Purpose: To be the focal point of all things digital for Pb. To manage the creative, production and delivery of digital solutions, as part of wider projects, and bespoke digital engagement for our clients. To ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and according to the brief, liaising with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
Main Duties:
· To act as the main point of contact for discussions and enquiries (from within and outside Pb) relating to digital solutions; whether forming part of wider projects, standalone projects or development.
· To attend client meetings and pitches to explain and promote our digital offering.
· To pro-actively develop new digital offerings and opportunities for our clients.
· To contribute to the production of pitches and proposals, individually or as part of a team.
· To support the Live Events, Creative, Technical and Exhibition teams by shaping and advising on the digital element of their projects.
· To conceive, manage and deliver the production of digital content as required, to a high standard.
· To help determine the budget and timescales for projects keeping the relevant Producer updated with the progress and costs.
· To liaise with clients where necessary to understand their requirements and meet their deadlines.
· To maintain and develop relationships with external suppliers and partners.
· To contribute to the management of the creative archive library of project masters and media, including following file naming and organisation protocol.
· To research and keep abreast of developments, both technical and creative, within the Digital world, and make these developments relevant to our projects where appropriate.
· To demonstrate and observe best practice within Pb, and share this with the team for the benefit of the creative department and wider company
· To be a proactive team member within Pb engaging professionally with internal staff whilst also acting as an ambassador for Pb externally.

Qualifications/Skills:
MAC / PC skills (E)
Excellent understanding of all things digital: the use of integrated platforms, animation, websites, banners, email, apps, API’s, eLearning and, social media (E)
Awareness of the technical possibilities and outer limits of digital production (E)
Ability to shape a proposal and approach, and recognize a strong brief (E)
Ability to form effective relationships concerning digital solutions with stakeholders, partners, and suppliers, including helping to manage client expectations (E)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to translate technical information into plain English for clients (E)
Good problem solving skills (E)
A multi-tasker who has the ability to prioritise and manage own workload (E)
Professional or degree level qualification in relevant discipline (D)
Experience:
Experience handling multiple digital projects across different platforms for a wide client base (E)
Experience managing the design/development/delivery process from end to end (E)
Experience communicating with clients on creative projects (E)
Experience of working in a pressured environment and to deadlines (E)
Experience controlling budgets (E)
Experience in the live events industry (D)
