Employee Self-Service Through MyPace Portal

MyPace Portal allows members of the Pace University community to perform a number of tasks through Employee Self-Service.

Access MyPace Portal

1.  Access the Pace University home page at http://www.pace.edu.

2.  Click MyPace, which is in the lower left corner. MyPace Portal can also be accessed by selecting “M” on the A – Z Index, located on the Pace University home page.

3.  Enter your User Name and Password in the Secure Access Login section and click Login.

-  The User Name is your Pace University e-mail address minus the @pace.edu.

-  Below the Secure Access Login section, there is a section entitled, Login Questions. Select the Need help logging in? link for further information on User Names and Passwords.

-  If you never received a Password, submit your request to the DoIT (Division of Information Technology) Helpdesk, which can be accessed by selecting “D” on the A – Z Index, located on the Pace University home page.

-  Additional assistance is available via the MyPace Help link, which can be accessed by selecting “M” on the A – Z Index, located on the Pace University home page.

4.  If login was successful, you will be directed to the Welcome screen of your MyPace Portal account on the Home tab. Notice that the Welcome screen lists important Announcements for the Pace Community. It is recommended that you access this section at least once per day.

-  You can learn how to customize the look of your MyPace account by accessing the MyPace Tutorial section on the Home tab.

-  In addition to the Home tab, become familiar with the information available on the other tabs: Students, Faculty, Staff, Library, My Stuff.

5.  Click the Staff tab to access the Employee Self-Service section of your MyPace Portal account.

6.  Click logout, in the upper right corner, to exit your MyPace Portal account.

Options Available Through Employee Self-Service

·  Personal Information – View and update addresses and phones, view and update e-mail addresses, view and update emergency contacts, name change information, and Social Security Number change information.

·  Employee Information and Pay Advice – Benefits, pay information, tax forms, Employee Summary.

·  Benefit Statement – View your Annual Benefits statement.

·  DoIT Helpdesk - A one-stop reporting center for IT problems and queries.

·  Finance Self Service – Budget queries, encumbrance query, requisition, purchase order, approve documents, view documents, budget transfer, multiple line budget transfer, and budget development. For further training on budgeting, access the Learn to Excel Calendar of Events, which can be found on the A – Z Index under the letter “L,” and look for Finance Budget Management.

·  Kronos Timesheets - Log in to Kronos to enter and approve your timesheets. For further training on the Kronos time and attendance system, access the Learn to Excel Calendar of Events, which can be found on the A – Z Index under the letter “L,” and look for Kronos 101.

·  E-Procurement - Gain access to Pace's E-Procurement system. You must be a valid E-Procurement user in order to access this system. For further training on the E-Procurement system, access the Learn to Excel Calendar of Events, which can be found on the A – Z Index under the letter “L,” and look for E-Procurement.

·  Internet Native Banner (INB) – Gain access to Internet Native Banner for Admissions, Finance, Human Resources, Financial Aid and Student Administration back office users.

·  LibertyNET Contracts System – Gain access to the LibertyNET Contracts System. For further training on contracts management, access the Learn to Excel Calendar of Events, which can be found on the A – Z Index under the letter “L,” and look for Contracts Management System.

·  Update Your White Pages Profile – Access this link to update your White Pages (internal contact) information.

·  Human Resources – Quick access to the Human Resources home page.

·  Finance and Administration – Quick access to the Finance and Administration home page.

Access Pay Advice

1.  From the Staff tab on your MyPace account, click Employee Information and Pay Advice, which is in the Employee Self-Service section.

2.  Click Pay Information.

3.  Click Pay Advice.

4.  Select the appropriate Pay Stub Year and click Display to access the Pay Advice screen.

5.  From the Pay Advice screen, click the appropriate Pay Stub Date to access the Pay Advice Detail screen.

6.  The Pay Advice Detail screen displays specific details (i.e., Gross Amount, Total Personal Deductions, Net Amount) related to the selected pay advice.

Access Gross Year-to-Date Information

1.  From the Staff tab on your MyPace account, click Employee Information and Pay Advice, which is in the Employee Self-Service section.

2.  Click Pay Information.

3.  Click Earnings History to access the Earnings History Criteria screen.

4.  From the Earnings History Criteria screen, select the appropriate date range and click Display to access the Earnings History screen.

5.  The Earnings History screen displays Total Gross Pay and Total Hours for the criteria selected.

6.  From the Earnings History screen, click the link below the “Earnings Type” heading (i.e., Regular Pay FT Staff Exempt) to view additional information or click the New Date Range link to select another date range.

Access Year-to-Date Deduction Information

1.  From the Staff tab on your MyPace account, click Employee Information and Pay Advice, which is under the Employee Self-Service section.

2.  Click Pay Information.

3.  Click Deductions History to select the Deductions History screen.

4.  From the Deductions History screen, select the appropriate date range and click Display to access the Deductions Summary screen.

5.  From the Deductions Summary screen, click the link below the “Deduction Type” heading (i.e., FICA Social Security Tax) to access the Contributions or Deductions screen, which provides additional information about the deduction selected and allows you to Display an alternate date range for that particular deduction, or click Back to return to the Deductions Summary screen and click the New Date Range link to select another date range or choose to view another “Deduction Type.”
