AIRWELL presents the DK - A / DN - A
ducted units
AIRWELL is broadening its industrial range with the new DK – A / DN – A ducted units, thus responding to the growing market demand for flexibility and variety.
The new units, which complement the current S range, are adapted to the commercial and industrial sectors (shopping centres, warehouses, medical centres…) air conditioning requirements.
They are available in both “cooling only” and heatpump versions and offer high cooling capacities, varying from 19 to 56 kW.
The DK-A / DN – A ducted unit range comprises the following models:
- 6 indoor units (DK – A), electronically controlled, with centrifugal fan for connection to a ducted air distribution network.
- 6 condensing units (DN – A), single or multi-circuit, with a dual speed helicoid
air condenser, for outdoor installation (the cabinet has an anti-corrosion powdercoating).
The DK – A / DN – A split system units benefit from ease of installation and maintenance. Furthermore, advanced technological functions provide them with excellent strength and reliability.
- Complete system control by electronic regulation, both for cooling and heating.
- Automatic regulation of the condenser pressure.
- Master switch on the electrical supply for greater safety.
- Electric heating possibility (option) to be fitted in the ducts.

10 WAY MULTI-HAWAII FROM AIRWELL
New 10 way multi-split system
AIRWELL is broadening and completing its Comfort Range with the introduction of a 10 way Multi-split system, particularly well suited for the hotel and commercial sectors (offices, medical centres etc.).
The use of a “Multibox” between the condensing unit and the terminals provides staged unit installation, irrespective of the type of premises. Furthermore, these additional installations can be put in place without having to shut off each room in the building during the work.
A single outdoor condenser (GC CD 50) supplies up to 10 indoor wall units from the XLM range. Whilst the cooling circuit control is centralised at the level of the condenser unit and the 10 way distribution box, each indoor unit operates independently of the others, thanks to electronic regulation, controlled by infra red remote control.
Total cooling capacity: 14,500 W
Unitary cooling capacity: 1,450 W
Of slim design (only 250 mm deep), the distribution box can be installed in the suspended ceiling, in a technical services room, or even outside the building.
The XLM indoor unit, offers compact lines (depth 160 mm and height 270 mm) and high performance electronic control, grouping numerous functions:
- 3 fixed ventilation speed and 1 automatic speed
- Treated air sweeping
- “I feel” function
- Slow-down at night
- Two programmable clocks (week and week-end)
- Dehumidifier
The cooling pipes (up to 50 m in length) enable the indoor and outdoor unit to be connected. The presence of the box adds a significant aesthetic advantage as only one pipe connects it to the condensing unit. With the view of keeping things simple, the installer only has to connect the distribution box to the indoor units.

AIRWELL innovates with CALIFORNIA,
its new range of ceiling or wall mounted split-systems
The new split-systems from the AIRWELL California range, available in “cooling only” and heatpump versions from 2.6 kW up to 8.8 kW, are truly innovative. They combine compact design with aesthetics, and ease of installation with ease of use, to improve everybody’s comfort.
Comfort… for the installer
Compact and light, the California SX air conditioners offer a collection of accessories, which simplify fitting and maintaining the units.
- Quick and easy installation
-The fitting template enables both wall and ceiling installations to be carried out, in all simplicity.
-The wall support, systematically supplied, is used for pre-assembly and mounting of the connections (rear, left and right outlets), providing quick fitting for the installer.
- More practical maintenance
-The electrical board is pivot mounted and is accessible from the right side of the unit, thus avoiding having to dismantle the front fascia for access. This side panel also opens to the cooling section, for better accessibility.
-All the operating and safety parameters are microprocessor controlled, guaranteeing both reliability and performance.
Comfort… for the end-user
AIRWELL’s California range innovates with its new design for this type of unit and its flexibility of use.
- Modern aesthetics
Thanks to its reduced dimensions and its new design, to its soft, rounded lines, the California SX integrates harmoniously into any style of decor, both in the residential and commercial environments.
- Leading edge technologies for greater comfort
-Designed for bi-directional air distribution (option), the California split-systems can simultaneously air condition two adjacent rooms. In other words, air intake is always in the room where the air conditioner is installed, but distribution can be directed just to this one room (standard air conditioning), or simultaneously in both rooms, thanks to an air outlet previously set in the room partition.
-The automatic dual sweeping of treated air, (horizontal and vertical) is finally possible thanks to two air distribution grilles with motorised flaps, as fitted to the California SX air conditioners.
- Advanced electronic functions for flexibility of use
-Electronic control by infra red remote control, or wall mounted controls.
-Incorporated electronic thermostat enabling temperature control to the nearest degree.
-Automatic switch from cooling to heating.
-Automatic ventilation (with a choice of 3 speeds as well as an automatic speed).
-“I feel” function for local temperature control.
-Slow-down at night.
-Dehumidifier
-Two programmable clocks (week and weekend).
