Following three sell-out runs at Nottingham Playhouse this heart-warming musical comedy is embarking on its first ever UK Tour.
Welcome to the Oldham Coliseum Theatre Home for Aging Thespians. The times – and hips – may be tight, but in this nursing home for actors, a group of agedpanto performers are determined to prove that it’s not all behind them.
A devastating, moving and hilarious look at getting on and letting it all hang out with a host of classic routines, surprisingly athletic dancing and a rock ‘n’ roll sing- along. From Nirvana to Tom Jones, Aqua to Bob Dylan and Aretha Franklin to Gloria Gaynor, northing is off vocal limits…or off key!
Giles Croft, Artistic Director of Nottingham Playhouse and director of Forever Youngsaid: “It’s a show that audiences never seem to tire off. I am delighted that old favouritesRebecca Little and John Elkington join the cast once again, but it’s great to be seeing newfaces in the 2015 production. I’m also excited that this time, Forever Youngis touring, sothat audiences away from Nottingham and the East Midlands also get the opportunity tosee it.”
