The Bellville Brahmanette Volleyball team is in the Playoffs for 2010!!!!! Yeah!!!!!
The past week has been one of our most exciting weeks of volleyball competition in 2010….but to use an old Bellville quote, THE BEST IS YET TO COME!
Last Tuesday, we had a fantastic evening of volleyball competition. Our Freshmen lost in a three game match and were the District 24 AAA Finalist. It was one of the best matches of competition for our Freshmen group and they played their best in front of the home crowd, what a way to end your season, “playing your best”. The Junior Varsity won their match in two games, and swept the District undefeated, to finish the District 24 AAA Champions! The Varsity won their match vs. Columbus in front of
a record home crowd 25-19, 12-25, 32-30, and 25-20! We are the District 23AAA Co-Champions. Our victory was short lived, we played the re-match this past Friday and lost the seeding match, 22-25, 16-25, 26-24, and 19-25.
The good thing is we are playing for the Bi-District Championship in the UIL Region III playoffs vs. the Giddings Lady Buffaloes, Tuesday, November 2, 2010, at Brenham High School Gym. Game time is 7:30 p.m. We are the second match of a double header. Sealy High School will play Caldwell High School at 6:00 p.m., prior to our match.

Get your Red playoff attire on and be ready for the Bi-District Championship Match.The Bi-District Champion will advance on to the Area Volleyball Championship Match vs. Silsbee which could be played on November 4th, 5th or 6th at a site to be determined. The Regional Quarterfinal match is November 8th or 9th. This is the match that propels your team into the Region 3 Tournament at Bryan High School on November 12th and 13th. All sites for playoff matches will be a neutral determined site, with the exception of the Regional and State Tournament locations. Please follow the Playoff Action throughout Region 3 with the links provided below.
