The Allen Career and Technical Education Program provides high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to complete career and technical education coursework and receive a CTE tuition credit for the cost of tuition, fees, and book rental (SB155). Students taking online coursework also receive a credit for technology fees. Students are responsible for any purchase books, supplies, and certification testing fees. Career and Technical Education courses help students develop skills and knowledge for a variety of career fields. Students may also take exploratory coursework to gain insight into possible employment fields to assist with future career planning. For each course below, you will find the course number, course name, number of credit hours, and semester offered. This list of courses is subject to change based on changes made to SB155 funding and courses.
