Minutes of Letham Feuars’ Committee
Held on Monday 2nd March 2015, Feuars’ Hall, 7.30pm

Approval of previous minutes
1. Matters Arising
· Basement
“Connor’s bench” is in place. An informal presentation took place with an excellent
attendance of young people from the Basement, representatives of Kickstart and family
members.
It must be noted how well the Chair of the Basement (Kirsty) has handled this very difficult
process of supporting the young people through the loss of Connor.
· Shop
Next £1000 rent received.
· Plashmill Progress
. The building is now partially functional and in use.
2. Repairs / Leaks / Funding #
· The plans are (almost) correct – second meeting to take place with the joiner re costs
· The contractor who installed the heating controls in the Village Hall to be researched.
A meeting with External Funding (Angus Council) has taken place, funding should be available for;
· Windows, doors, insulation and controls for heating – Angus Environmental Trust
· The stair lift – Angus Council community grant
· The pointing and the upgrading of the toilet cubicle, no funding available, but we have sufficient in the funds to cover this.
Listed Building Permission and a building warrant to be obtained before submission of the funding applications. (the building warrant will probably cost in the region of £300)
3. Corresponance
Lease the Den
A letter received from Ewan Nicoll (son) regarding the occupation of 4 The Den
He intends to move into the house and take over the lease from his mother.
The current lease is such that the Trustees have no say over the passing on of the lease but would like to negotiate an agreement with him.
If possible.
4 Treasurer
Accounts to be completed ready for AGM.
Recycling Center probably will not continue.
5. Litter Pick
Sunday 16th April – 11am to 1pm
IS will arrange food Etc.
