Children: The Mount Vernon Farmers Market allows kids, age 14 and under to host their own booth. We have a limited number of vendor spaces for children interested in selling their products at the market. If we have an overwhelming demand, we will create a booth space that will operate on a rotating basis and the kid vendors will be placed in a rotating schedule, to be determined at the discretion of the manager. All vendor policies still apply. Please answer any questions that pertain to the products you wish to sell or services that you wish to provide.

Non-Profits: The Mount Vernon Farmers Market values community and supports organizations that do as well. We will gladly provide space at the market for your organization to educate about your mission but maintain the authority to deny any application. There are a limited number of spaces available to non-profits so please contact the Market Manager to set-up specific dates. All vendor policies still apply. If you wish to sell anything, please answer any questions that pertain to those products and stall fees will apply.

Growers: All products must be grown, wild-harvested, or raised in Washington State. Preference will be given to those Growers whose businesses reside in Skagit County. Reselling of Washington-grown product that is not being sold by a vendor who grows it locally is allowed but only with OBVIOUS signage stating region and farm of origin for each individual product as well as weekly consent of Market Manager. The Market maintains authority to deny sale of resold products at any time. Please circle all products and farming styles that apply and describe in detail the products that you are selling.

Artisans: Products must be handcrafted locally by applicant. Preference will be given to those vendors who are using local, repurposed, or found materials. Please describe products in detail as well as provide photo examples. Email digital photos to . Please include business name in header.

Food Concessioners: Preference will be given to those vendors who use locally grown food in their products. The Mount Vernon Farmers Market is aiming to be a Zero Waste event. We require that all food packaging be compostable or recyclable. You are required by Skagit County Public Health to have a roof protecting your stall, and floor mats or covering underneath. All necessary permits must be obtained through Skagit County Public Health, 700 South 2nd Street, Mount Vernon. Call with questions (360) 336-9380. Stalls: The standard booth space that is allotted to vendors is 10x10. Unless you are a Food Concessioner you are not required (although strongly encouraged) to have a canopy or umbrella. If you do have a canopy or umbrella you are ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED to have weights SECURELY FASTENED with a minimum of 24lbs per leg of canopy or 50lbs per umbrella. See vendor policies for details. Vendors are responsible for shelter, weights, tables, chairs, and anything else you may need. Vendors who operate with more than one standard booth size will be charged an additional minimum Daily Stall Fee of $15. Please circle booth styles that apply and if you will not be using a standard 10x10 canopy, provide description of booth including dimensions.

Booth Sharing: The Market allows vendors (with a maximum of two vendors) to share booth spaces at the manager’s discretion. Both vendors must fill out separate applications and include separate Annual Registration Fees. This exception is to allow for vendors who do not have enough product to fill a standard 10x10 booth. Both vendors are required to be present in order to sell their products but the Daily Stall Fee may be split between the two. The Market does not organize booth sharing, vendors are responsible for finding their own partners. If you are interested, please indicate the vendor you would like to share your booth with.

On-Call Vendors: If your application is not accepted due to the Market's having reached maximum capacity in your vendor category, there is still an opportunity for you to vend at Market. Stall Fees: The Daily Stall Fee is based on your sales. $0-$200= $15, $201-$400= $20, $401+ = 5% of sales.

The Market Manager will collect Daily Stall Fees at the end of each Market day.

Vendors: Annual Registration Fee: $30 (non-refundable) to be included with your application.

Children: There is no Annual Registration Fee. Daily Stall Fees are $5.

Non-Profits: There is no Annual Registration Fee. There will be no Daily Stall Fee if you are not selling anything. If you are selling things, your Daily Stall fee will be $15. Donations are exempt from stall fees.

Calendar: Please circle the dates that you will be able to attend the market. Preference will be given to those vendors who are present on a consistent basis. Vendors who are absent without 24 hours notice will be charged the minimum Daily Stall Fee of $15. Non-profits will be contacted after application submission to finalize dates of attendance.
