Grading Policy:

Students are responsible for completing any work missed when absent. Students should complete assignments within a number of days equal to the length of their absence. See student agenda/handbook for policies, page 4. Please check your child’s agenda nightly for assignments. We put our weekly assignments on our teacher blog. The address is above.

Homework Practice/Warm-ups 10%

Classwork/Labs 25%

Quizzes/Performance Tasks 30%

Assessments/Projects 35%

Grading Scale A: 90-100 B: 80-89 C: 74-79 D: 70-73 F: Below 70

Class Supplies: tissues, paper towels, wipes, hand sanitizer, pencils, other requests will be made as needed.

Late Policy: Late work will not receive full credit (-10 pts per school day). Students who are absent have one day per day absent to make up work. It is the student’s responsibility to ask for make-up assignments and schedule time for make-up tests, quizzes, or labs.

Expectations: Students are expected to be in class on time and to do all assignments to the best of their ability in a timely fashion. See the Dodgen agenda for behavior expectations.
