Day 1 at Moggill State School
Friday 12 February: 9.00am – 1.30pm
1860’s themed activities, special assembly, P&C Presentation
Day 2 at Moggill State School: Heritage Day& Bushdance
Saturday 13 February:
12.30 pm Official ceremony; musical presentation, cake cutting by oldest former pupil
1.30 pm Afternoon celebrations: history trail around the school, open classrooms,
1860s classroom set up in Anglican Church, handprint wall,cooking
competition, old fashioned games, Hall of Fame display of former students,
historical display by Moggill Historical Society; order your copy of the history
of Moggill State school and meet the author
4.30 pm Lions Club BBQ and refreshments from MoccaBella cart
5.30 pm Bush dance (free)
7.30 pm Celebrations conclude
Day 3 at Bellbowrie Tavern: Celebration Breakfast
Sunday 14 February:8.00am
An informal social gathering to get together over a buffet breakfast. This will be an
opportunity to meet up with past students and staff of Moggill State School over a
casual, buffet breakfast. Available for sale at the breakfast will be various memorabilia
items to celebrate the 150 years - pens, mugs, tea towels, handball, etc.
Cost: $22 perperson, $11 per child under 12, free children under 5

Come along, join in, catch up and chat with people you haven't seen for years!!The tables will be set up in decades, so when you book, please give them the decade that you would like to sit with.
Day 3: Sunday Church Service
Sunday 14 February: 10.30am
Anglican Church (Moggill Road)
The whole community is invited to a service of Christian celebration. Afterwards, look
round the period classroom set up in the church (the original school room). Enjoy
morning tea afterwards
