CHRISTMAS PARTY!!
SBDC’s Senior and Inter Company dancers are hosting SBDC’s 2nd annual Christmas party on Saturday, Dec. 12 from 5:30-8:00 pm. There will be pizza, crafts, dancing, games and more! Siblings are welcome, space permitting. The cost is $10 per person and it is open to anyone 5-12 years old. All proceeds are going towards the extra expense the senior and inter companies incur throughout the year. Space is still available so if you would like to go please leave your money and information (name, age, emergency phone number and allergies) in the drop box!

CONGRATULATIONS to Chelsea Broesky, Quinn Charriere, Brittany Davies, Kaylee Hildebrand and Jenny Unrau who have just returned from winning the gold medal at the World Tap Championships in Germany! Quinn and Brittany also competed in a small group category and received the bronze medal. We’re very proud of all of you girls!
WAITING AREA
• Please remember to remove your outdoor shoes at the door so that mud and dirt do not get tracked over the floor and into the studios – and please use the racks in the entrance and waiting area .
• Thank you to everyone for working hard to keep the waiting area as clean as possible. We ask that you continue to tidy up after yourselves. Please be careful that the recycling bin is used strictly for recyclables and that no trash is put into it – thank you!

We have tried to make sure students were only in either one or the other, however it was not possible for absolutely everyone. For the few of you who have to come to both we apologize! Little Stars recital will be split into 2 groups with each class participating in 2 shows on either the Sat. or Sun.

OBSERVERS: Reminder – The next observation week is January 4-11. Parents (only please) are invited to observe their child from inside the studio; we just ask that you kindly remember to follow our observation guide lines. Please keep noise to a minimum, turn off all cell phones, pagers, etc. before entering the studio and please no entering/exiting while the class is in progress. Thank you!

Parents please keep the weekends of /March 13-14 and 20-21 open as these are the weekends of the dance portion of the festival in Steinbach. The following classes have been entered into the festival this year. Please let your instructor know if you will not be able to attend. We will give you the exact schedule as soon as we have it. SBDC is a Nut Free Facility: Due to allergies within our students we are asking that students, siblings, etc. refrain from bringing any products into SBDC that contain nuts or fish of any sorts. Thank you!
Recital Music: Please check our website and blogs in the coming weeks as we will be posting a complete list of all music being used for each class for their recital/festival dances. Most of the music is available off of I-Tunes. If it is not available or you are unable to download it yourself you may bring a cd in and your teacher will make you a copy. Thank you!
