Parking 2013 / 2014 school year

Please read through this information concerning parkingprivilegesat Hope.

About Parking here:

Students with parking privileges here are considered a part of the church family of Hope.

We’ll treat you and your car with respect and ask that you do the same for the people that make up Hope.

How to request Parking Privileges

  1. Fill out the form on the other side of this sheet.

* due to space restraints not all applicants can be accepted.

  1. BEFORE you fill out the Application, consider these points:

One key requirement to note: If you are not attending worship on Sunday morningsthen we ask that you free up the church lot for worship.

Our worship service is 10:00am (Parking is allowed on campus on the weekends) (this is a very important requirement. The snow plowing at Hope is done on early Sun am)

In the spring, there are a few special weekday evening services that the lot will need to be available for a couple hours. Ash Wed, Holy Thurs, and Good Friday

The UConn campus escort shuttle does pick up people here if you need to walk back to a dorm late at night.

Take note of these points: .

Winter parking: We do our best to keep the lot clear. We plow and shovel with volunteers so there might not be immediate access after a big storm. There are shovels by the front door of the church you can use to clear the sides of your car.

Safe driving: No inappropriate driving or disrespectful behavior will be tolerated. You will be asked to not park here anymore.

Parking Pass info: Parkers will be issued a “pass” to hang on the rear view mirror. You can pick this up when you first come to park. Your car/license plate will also be in the log. Either way, please introduce yourself, as we like to meet and get to know each parker. Keep your “Pass” visible. Your “Pass” is not transferablefor other cars to use. (unless noted)
