48th Annual Oil City Thanksgiving Invitational

Date: Saturday, November 26, 2016

Time: Morning- Novice and Cadet

Warm-ups for the morning session will run from 7:30-8:40am

Lanes will be posted.

Meet begins at 9:00 a.m.

Afternoon- Prep, Junior, and Senior

Warm-ups for the afternoon session:

Immediately following the morning session, but not before 1:00 p.m.

Location: OIL CITY High School

10 Lynch Blvd

Oil City, PA 16301

Age Groups: 8 & under, 9 – 10, 11 – 12, 13 – 14, 15 – 18

Age is determined as of December 1, 2016.

Awards: Individual Events: Medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishes.

Ribbons for 4th through 12th place finishes.

Relay Events: Medals for 1st place finishes.

Ribbons for 2nd, 3rd, 4th 5th and 6th place finishes.

Overall team trophies will be awarded to the 1st and 2nd place teams.

Heat ribbons will be awarded for the morning session only.

Entry fees: $4.00 per individual event. ($5.00 per swimmer for late entries)

$16.00 per relay.

Relays are mixes and may be any combination of swimmers.

Entries: Each swimmer may enter an unlimited number of events. No refunds for scratches. All relays may be mixed boy/girl within age group. No paper entries will be accepted. Entries must be in Hy-Tek format.

Discipline: Parents/coaches are responsible for the conduct of the swimmer from warm up until completion of the meet. We reserve the right to eject any individual for violation of the rules of normal decency.

Meeting: 8:30 a.m. for morning events and one-half hour prior to afternoon events.

Deadline: ALL ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY NOV. 16, 2016.

No late entries will be accepted. Please submit entries as a team. Do NOT send entries individually. Make checks payable to the Oil City YMCA Swim Team.
