Central China Expo Overview
Central China Investment and Trade Exposition (referred to as “Central China Expo”) is approved by the State Council and held in central 6 provinces(Hunan, Henan, Hubei, Anhui, Jiangxi, Shanxi) in turns since 2006. Sponsors include Ministry of Commerce, China National Tourism Administration, All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, China Federation of Industrial Economics as well as the People’s Governments of six provinces of Shanxi, Anhui, Jiangxi, Henan, Hunan, and Hubei.The expo will undertake industrial transfer, investment and trade promotion as the thread, including investment and trade exhibition, keynote forums and series of seminars, investment projects as the main content. The expo aim to build the economic and technological exchanges and cooperation platform for Chinese and foreign investors as well as to promote the comprehensive matchmaking between the central region of China and the market, capital, resources of bothdomestic and abroad.
The Expo Central China 2017 will be held in Hefei, Anhui Province from May 17th to 19th, 2017. Themed on “New Ideas for Development, New Opportunities for Prosperity”, the expo will seize the significant strategic opportunities brought about by the Belt and Road Initiative and the Yangtze River Economic Belt Initiative, prominent supply side structural reform, innovation driven development, legalized business environment construction and etc. The expo will hold events on policy discussion, industrial cooperation, project matchmaking, exhibition and etc. The Expo builds a platform for promotion of industrial transfer, investment and trade cooperation between Central China and the rest of the world.

Content: The event will focus on the development of the central region in China, strengthening the economic and trade exchanges and cooperation in the 6 central provinces, promoting the Belt and Road Initiative and the strategic development implementation of the Yangtze River Economic Belt Initiative, promotingthe industrial structure adjustment and upgrade of the 6 central provinces in China.

Preliminary Exhibition Scheme
The main exhibition hall of the 10th Expo Central China is located in the Hefei Lakeside International Exhibition Center with a total exhibition area of 80,000 m2.The exhibition will fully embody the economic and social development characteristics of the 6 central provinces of China, highlight the commodity characteristics, strengthen the commodity exhibition, increase the involvement of the professional audiences, foreign merchants and professional buyers, strengthen the function of on-site communication and cooperation. Specific arrangements are as followed:
1.Comprehensive exhibition
Located in the main exhibition hall, 20,000 m2, containing 3 sub exhibition zones.
-Central exhibition zone: comprehensive exhibition of the economic conditions of the 6 central provinces;
- Central 6 provinces, Hong Kong and Macau exhibition zone: local featured exhibition of central 6 provinces, Hong Kong and Macau;
- Anhui urban exhibition: local urban featured exhibition of Anhui province.
2.Thematic exhibition
Culture and financial service exhibition zone, 10,000 m2, containing 2 sub exhibition zones.
- International pop culture creative industry exhibition zone;
- Financial service exhibition zone
- Health care industry exhibition zone, 10,000 m2;
- China Central(Hefei) international equipment manufacturing industry exhibition zone, 20,000 m2.
3. Commodity trade exhibition zone
Total exhibition area of 20,000 m2,containing 3 sub exhibition zones.
