I come from the United States with an international family background. Brought up in our family Bed and Breakfast I’ve acquired great hospitality skills as well as a friendly outgoing personality. I’m very easy to get along with, as well as a great team player, detailed orientated, very switched on and can adapt with any situation.
Objective: I’m seeking a challenging job with a friendly energetic team. A position in which I can use my hospitality skills to fulfill the guests demands while being on the water.
Experience:
2013 2nd Stewardess 224 M/Y Callisto, Working as Second Stewardess with a team of five onboard a private FeadShip. The yacht is heavily used with intensive cruising. Standing in for chief during yard period.
2012 Chief Stewardess 130 M/Y Azucar, Family owned yacht with a busy summer traveling to sixty-eight places in the Mediterranean while owners lived on board for three consecutive months. Owners enjoy filling the yacht with guests every week and entertaining. I did a rotation of all interior duties while guest are onboard. Projects that I have worked on is creating work sheets, as well as updating guest preference sheets, creating a stewardess bible, photo spreadsheets of yacht interior items as well as purchase of all new uniforms.
2011 Freelance Stewardess/cook, For a fleet of three busy yachts used almost daily for dinner cruises, business luncheons, themed events, large cocktail cruises, as well as weekend guest usage. I assisted on all three yachts wherever needed. My duties were normal stewardess duties: beds, heads, laundry, bartending, serving as well as provisioning for all yachts, assisting with party planning and themed party decorations. In addition I was responsible for organizing catering for all guest events as well as providing all crew meals.
2011Freelance Solo Stewardess 85’ M/Y Moon Shadow, I prepared boat for a ten-day charter to the Bahamas for seven guests. My duties included breakfast buffet set up, service of all meals, beach side picnics, sunset cocktails, elaborate table decorations, everyday detail cleaning, beds and heads, assisting with day tender cruises, and helping with fenders and lines.
2011Chief Stewardess/ Island management 140’ Dorothy Ann, crew of 6 and additional island staff with up to 30 guest. This vessel was often used to transport owner and guest over to their private island in the Bahamas where the family own a compound of 5 homes plus day spa. My duties were very broad, from provisioning for yacht and island, coordinating both yacht and island interior staff . Creating elaborate table decorations and service for multiple locations, cocktail hour at different locations around the island, themed tables, bartending, at times cooking for guest, silver service, family style and buffets, arranging spa appointments, entertaining children, and creating flower arrangements.
2010Freelance 2nd Stewardess 167’ M/Y 4 YOU, Nine Crew, Ten Guests, This vessel was heavily chartered with heavy movement around all of the Mediterranean. Often 24 hour or same day turn around, while guest onboard I was to fill in wherever needed providing all levels of service including silver service during dinning times, setting of elaborate themed table decorations, themed dinners, bartending, assisting with reservations, floral arrangements, beds and heads, laundry, watch duties
2010Stewardess 140’ M/Y Alfa Sea, New Refit, Mediterranean, Greece, seven crew, twelve guests, A heavily used private yacht with frequent 24-48 hour turn around, While guests are on board they required the highest level of five star service including 10 course meals for every dinner and often lunch, and extravagant breakfast all with very particular eating arrangements, all meals accompanied with elaborate table decoration. My duties on board were all around including service of all meals, floral arrangements, provisioning, laundry, strict handling of clothes, detailed cleaning, delegating jobs, bartending, cigar purchase and upkeep of a humidor, massage therapy, accounting, the initial set up and purchasing and organizing of this new refit straight out of yard.
2009Chief Stewardess 140’ M/Y Hillarium, Florida, Caribbean, 8 crew, 10 guests.
This family owned a fleet of 5 yachts ranging from 25 ft to 140. The boats were all private used amongst family. I was responsible for all the up keep all of the interiors yachts. My duties were to bring the yachts up to standard for the season, provisioning, inventory, event decorating, training of new girls, delegating duties from everyday to weekly projects, floral arrangements, reservations, as well as all around service, beds, heads, laundry, assisting where needed.
2007/082nd Stewardess 176 M/Y Pegaso, Private, 13crew, 14 guest,
On board this fast passed yacht my duties were primarily guests service and taking lead while chief was on leave. I performed the service of all meals as well as bartending, assisting chef, occasional cooking for crew, cocktail parties, fine detailed cleaning, guest laundry, provisioning for owner and crew, delegating jobs as well as accounting.
2007Solo Stewardess 118’ M/Y Indigo, Six crew, Six guests, I was solo stewardess from Patagonia, Chile to Polynesia with live aboard guests. My duties were performed everyday on board this busy yacht which entail provisioning, floral arrangements, arranging tours and travel itinerary for every post, silver service of all meals, light cooking for owner and crew, bartending, arranging dinner parties, cocktail parties and banquets, detailed cleaning, beds and heads, delegating jobs to day works, finance, purchasing wine from around the world, assisting with watch and lines, tender driving.
