POWERMAN FLORIDA MOVES TO DECEMBER 6TH
NEW PORT RICHEY, FL – In order to expand the reach of Powerman Florida, Boca Raton-based Exclusive Sports Marketing has changed its running date from October 4th to December 6th. The decision for the new date was made in a effort to allow a greater amount of time marketing the event in its inaugural year. “We felt that after revisiting our initial timelines, it was in everyone’s best interest to move this inaugural event to December, a typically less crowded time of year for multi-sport events and a time that allows Powerman Florida the ability to stand alone in a caliber all its own,” said Exclusive Sports Marketing President, Chris Colgan.
The International Powerman Association of The Netherlands agreed with the move as has approved of the move in the interest of this international event in the United States. Everything else is remaining the same, the destination and race will remain unchanged in Pasco County.
Powerman Florida will feature a prize purse of $5,000 for the top male and female finishers competing in this multisport event consisting of an 8K Run, 52.8K Bike and finished with an 8K run as well as 75 age group qualifying spots for the 2009 Powerman World Championship in Zofingen, Switzerland.
