A RESOLUTION adjourning the Senate in loving memory and honor of Kendra Tackett Cavins.

With deepest respect and admiration, we pay homage and tribute to Kendra Tackett Cavins, and we pause in silent reverence for her soul.

WHEREAS, Kendra Tackett Cavins was born July 26, 1976, a native of Pike County, Kentucky; and

WHEREAS, Kendra Tackett Cavins traversed these earthly bounds, in tragic and untimely circumstances, in February 2005; and

WHEREAS, Kendra Tackett Cavins was the loving daughter of Barry and Suzanne Robinson Tackett; the devoted wife of Keith Cavins; the loving and caring mother of two sons, Braydon Zane and Jonathan Bryce, one daughter, Alyssa Grace, and a step-daughter, Danielle Lynn. She leaves a grieving brother, a devastated sister, and three grandparents; and

WHEREAS, Kendra Tackett Cavins was not only devoted to her family but also sought to improve herself and to take care of those around her by studying Nursing at Big Sandy Community and Technical College, the Pikeville Campus; and

WHEREAS, the passing of Kendra Tackett Cavins has left a void that cannot be filled, and she is mourned across the length and breadth of the Commonwealth;

NOW, THEREFORE,

Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky:

Section 1. The Senate is indeed proud to recognize Kendra Tackett Cavins for her contribution to her family and community.

Section 2. When the Senate adjourns this day, it does so in loving memory and honor of Kendra Tackett Cavins.
