  • Final total was £1090 profit
  • Feedback recived:
  • DJ and Irish Dancing were a success
  • Lack of Guiness
  • More £1’s and 50p’s needed in floats
  • Possible use of a cloakroom

4 / Spring Quiz Night - Friday 15th May 2015

  • Use tealights etc for decoration – SH to ask
  • Aine to use school PA system and projector and will be including a variety of questions and rounds
  • SH to organise advert via Parentmail
  • AZ to issue tickets – discussed having a team organiser to aid sorting out teams and tickets
  • Aine to produce table numbers to allow for table bar service
  • Discussed BYO drink/food in the future and selling tickets via BACS App
  • Update needed on PTA noticeboard

  • at Wanstead Golf Club
  • £50 a ticket, 3 course meal,1/2 bottle wine and drinks on arrival
  • Pettyson is sponsoring – discussed using there signage for table numbers
  • Booking forms in bookbags next week
  • Total wine bill will be discounted by 20% as Clare a member of WGC

6 / Summer Fayre
  • Discussed date and venue; 4th July at Eton Manor?
  • Aine to forward contact for inflatables
  • Aine agreed to DJ again
  • SH to ask Katherine to organise youth helpers on stalls

7 / Golf day – 26th June 2015
  • Wayne and Dave to organise and advertise
  • 18 hole, 40 to 50 people, fee of £45 includes BBQ for players
  • Bacon Sandwiches on arrival
  • £12 additional fee for visitors
  • Numbers need to be confirmed 1 week before event

8 / Summary of Financial position and spending
  • Balance of £10300 at end March + £1500 for April
  • Donation of approx. £8000 agreed to school for KS1 and books
  • More spending plans to be requested for end of next term
  • Discussed asking the school Ambassadors to investigate ideas (Dragons Den style)

  • New Parents Meeting to be attended by Committee representatives – Class reps to be sorted early Sept.
  • Charity status to be researched again- Church and school are a charity which could be used to secure sponsorship/prize donations?
