Information from Past MLI Chairs – Kay Soltis has forwarded some reports and schedules from past MLIs that she chaired. There were some helpful ideas on topics to cover and amount of time to allow. Wendy has asked Catherine King-Todd and Kay if they would share the PowerPoint or outlines for the topics they discussed. Since we have a smaller than usual faculty, any help that they can provide is appreciated.

Schedule for Management and Leadership Institute – We began to put together the schedule of events and topics for the institute. See schedule.

Arrival and Departure Time for Committee Members – We did not discuss this topic, but we should plan to arrive on Sunday, February 13, in the late afternoon so that we have Sunday evening (starting at 5 p.m.) and Monday morning to prepare. Departure time on Wednesday, can be planned so that we have about an hour to wind things up before you head for the airport. Once you have decided on the best schedule and priced ticket, Peter Miller, our treasurer can purchase the ticket for you. Travel expenses are all covered by WASFAA.

Charge for the MLI – Includes Room Costs – Wendy will begin to put together information on what should be charged and discuss it with Jim. Once an amount can be recommended for a vote by the WASFAA Executive Council, she will forward it to Sandi.

Review Timeline – Wendy reminded Jim and Susan to check our timeline to make sure we are staying on track and to see what is coming up.
