The online Auction will take place December 4 – 11th. Please go to the following link to view the auction;

http://nelsonmicmac2016.eflea.ca/

Chocolates sales have gone well. The profit to the Corps was just over $1200.00.

Halifax Forum Bingo – Each year we participate in several Halifax Forum Bingo events. This fundraising event does not involve the cadets other than to give our bingo vouchers to family and friends. Anyone who goes to the Halifax Forum Bingo and gives one of our vouchers allows the Halifax Forum Bingo to donate $10.00 per voucher to our Corps.

We will be having a joint bottle drive with RCSCC Nelson on Saturday January 7th. Please save your holiday refundables for our bottle drive. Also, cadets can sign up for the bottle drive this month as well.

SECTION E – Halifax Branch

E1. WORD FROM THE BRANCH

Hi Micmac,

It is hard to believe that it is December already. I am pleased to tell parents that your cadets did a great job during their first formal inspection – Branch inspection in November. Members of the Nova Scotia Mainland Division were in attendance and they were also very impressed with the cadets. NLCC Micmac were confident, respectful and polite. Bravo Zulu to you all.

On behalf of the Halifax Branch, I wish all our families who celebrate the season a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Parents/guardians, I am appealing to you to consider volunteering some time with the Corps. As the number of cadets grows, the staff needs help supervising, setting up, etc. All volunteers must be screened which is a simple process. Parents/guardians would not be expected to volunteer every week. Please contact me to discuss this opportunity.

Thanks,

Erica
