Simon Murray also saw a “lone red kite” between Appleford and Sutton Courtenay.

Mrs Bradley is concerned about the feeding of nuts to garden birds at this time of year. Mrs Strong successfully reared a fledgling sparrow.

A green budgerigar was also recorded.
