Varian Medical Systemsjoins The British Institute of Radiology

Varian Medical Systems has joined TheBritish Institute of Radiology(BIR) as a corporate member.BIR corporate subscribers are encouraged to join special interest groups, collaborate in developing educational events and get involved with publishing activities.

Since the 1950s Varian has been producing tools that harness the power of X-ray energy to benefit humankind and it has pioneered developments in the fields of radiotherapy, radiosurgery, X-ray tube technology, digital image detectors, cargo screening and non-destructive testing.
