Linn 5th/6th Grade Basketball Tournaments
January 17/18, 6th Grade Boys, January 24/25, 6th Grade Girls, January 31/ Feb 1, 5th Grade Girls, February 7/8, 5th Grade Boys
All games will be played at the Linn High School Field House, 2 miles east of Linn off Highway CC. Take Highway 50 east of Linn and turn south on CC. Coming from Linn you will see Linn State Tech College sitting on the left, CC will be the turn to the right as you head east. The field house drive is ¼ mile on the left.
Tournament Contact: Brett Phillips, 573 291 5142 or . Brackets will be released the week prior to the tournament weekend. Rosters must be submitted to tournament administration upon arrival.
Entry fee is $50.00. Make checks payable to the Linn Athletic Booster Club. Payment must be made upon arrival.
There will be an admission fee of $2.00 for all adults and $1.00 for children to watch the games.
Rules
There will be a 3 game guarantee if we have 6 teams or more register.

High school rules apply with the following additions:
5th and 6th grade boys will use a regulation BOYS BALL, a 29.5 inch ball.
The 5th and 6th grade girls will use a regulation girls basketball, 28.5 inch.
All free throws will be shot from 15 feet, 5th graders will be allowed to cross the line on the shot.
3 point shots will count.
There is no back court defense when a team has a 15 point lead.
The game will consist of four six minute quarters. Halftime will be 5 minutes.
There will be 10 minutes between games if we are on schedule, 5 if we are behind.
Overtime periods will be 3 minutes long.
Coaches are awarded 4 1 minute time outs per game.
