Course Objectives: This course is designed to be an introduction to the main branches of economics. Microeconomic topics, such as consumer behavior, cost and production, and market structure are essential ingredients in this course. In addition, topics including income determination, unemployment, fiscal policy, and the roles played by commercial banks and the central bank in the process of money creation are carefully explored in this course in its part devoted to macroeconomics.

PaperPresentation 10%

Final Exam, TBA (Comprehensive) 50%
