I understand that my participation in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast takes commitment and will require me to attend all rehearsals. I will also be required to attend at least 2 of 3 work days to help complete the set. I will be allowed 1 week worth of excused absences, but not during the mandatory tech and dress rehearsals which are July 20-26. Show runs July 27- Aug 6 at Timberline Middle School.

ACT is a volunteer organization that requires a lot of support from the community. In order to have a successful show, we need help from EVERYONE. Your child’s participation in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast also commits you to volunteer in one or more of the following areas below. You also will be required to attend at least 2 of the 3 work days to help complete the set and you will be required to help on the set set-up day and set tear down on closing night. You will be responsible to see that your child’s costume is completed on time – and sewn if necessary. (Seamstress names will be provided if needed.)

I will have a representative from our family to assist on the set set-up day Friday, July 20th and on the set tear down on closing night, Monday, August 6th. I realize this will require me to assist with moving sets, props, costumes, etc. from our rehearsal venue at Alpine Elementary to our production venue at Timberline Middle School and assist with the set set-up. I also realize that this will require me to stay after the final production on closing night and assist in clearing out and cleaning the building, tearing down sets and transporting them, along with costumes, props, etc. to the storage facility. (Plan on 2-3 hours.)
