SALVAVERDE A Contract Specifications (50x50 cm)
All the areas indicated in the plans herein attached should be paved with plates made of regenerated LDPE. The thickness of the base layer and the materials to be used will be those established by the Project Management after considering the nature of the substrate, the intended use of the paving and the instructions provided by the manufacturer. The contractor should indicate to the Project Management the materials used for the various layers and their origin. The type, thickness, finish, colour and features of the elements will be those established by the Project Management, for each individual area. The paving will be constituted by regenerated LDPE perforated plates, of SALVAVERDE type by GEOPLAST, 50x50 cm and 4 cm high, with double overlap coupling and permeability equal to 95% of its actual surface.
The paving will be dry-laid on site on a bedding layer as indicated by the manufacturer. If the open surfaces are intended to be covered with turf it is necessary to previously fill them with a mixture of 50% volcanic sand and 50% of soil specific for turf: the mixture should be spread again after compacting and first humidification to compensate the natural shrinkage of the material. It will be then necessary to proceed by seeding, fertilizing and irrigating for the first time the surface.
