GUNNISON MIDDLE SCHOOL INVITATIONAL
WRESTLING TOURNAMENT

On Saturday, February 24, 2018, Gunnison Middle School will be hosting a Middle School (6-8) wrestling tournament. We would like your team to participate. Please send your email address and cell phone number to so we can forward you the tournament seeding process.
Place: Gunnison High School Gymnasium, 800 W. Ohio Avenue. Turn North on Highway 50 on 11th street (Pizza Hut). The school is 6 blocks off highway,
Weigh-in: 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. (no Coaches meeting)
Starting Time: We will start as close to 8:30 AM as possible.
Sessions: We plan on running two sessions with a half hour break between sessions.
Awards: There will be awards for the top 3 individual places and for the top 3 team places.
Weights: 70,75,80,85,90,95,100,105,110,115,120,125,130,135,140,145,155, 170, HWT.
Entry Fee: $70.00 per team. Please pay at weigh-in time.
Spector Fee: Adult $6 Senior citizen $3 Student $3 Family $12
Mats: Three
Concessions: A concession stand will be in operation during the tournament.
Seeding: We look forward to seeing you at the Gunnison Middle School wrestling tournament on Saturday February 24th. In order to ensure accuracy of your wrestler’s spelling we are asking you to enter your wrestlers names on “Track Wrestling". We will be contacting you with an email address that you will use to fill information out on your wrestlers. It is easy and simple to login at any time, input data, save and come back and make changes whenever you so desire. Your entry portal will be sent next Sunday, Feb. 18,2018. Enter every wrestler that you might bring, removing them is easier than adding the day of the tournament. Please complete entries by noon on Friday February 23rd. All final changes, hopefully only a few, will be addressed during weigh-ins.
Bracket: 16 team bracket
Teams:
Buena Vista, Gunnison, Montrose Columbine, Montrose Centennial, Delta, Olathe, Salida, Paonia, Nucla, & Hotchkiss.
Please send us an email to let us know as soon as possible whether or not you will be coming to our tournament. If we do not hear from you we will Not expect to see you.
