Marketing Executive–global digital publishing company
Informa is looking for a commercially minded Marketing Executive to join our Commodities and Consumer business taking ownership of the Verdict division, the leading authority on publishing retail insights. Focused on marketing the subscriptions portfolio of market intelligence products, you will gain a breadth of experiences and the opportunity to develop your skills within a vibrant and challenging environment. This is the ideal opportunity for a Marketing Assistant or Marketing Executive who has grounded their experience in campaign management, to step up and take on a more strategic role, getting involved in marketing planning across the full marketing communications mix.
Through its research Verdict, part of the Informa Group, is a leading authority on retailing and publishes unrivalled independent analysis of the industry. Our products and services cover all aspects of retailing. In addition to regular reports covering a variety of sectors and strategic issues we also provide analysis and opinion on relevant daily news events. As a Marketing Executive within our marketing communications team, you will take responsibility for all marketingfor developing the marketing strategy for thisportfolio of products, planning all campaigns from direct marketing, online and social media activity, briefing an internal team on implementation of these campaigns. This role will give you the ability to step up and take ownership of acquisition, retention activity as well as provide support for our Key Accounts teams that sell single copy and subscriptions access to our market leading intelligence products.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Preparing strategic marketing plans that balance client relationship marketing and new business opportunities
- Regularly communicate with key stakeholders throughout the company and around the globe - developing strong relationships
- Work with our in-house teams to develop innovative marketing communications campaigns
- Develop and manage reporting systems on how you are implementing your strategic marketing plan and measurements on effectiveness
- Undertake key projects delivering on schedule and budget
The successful applicant will possess:
- A minimum 2:1 degree or equivalent specialising in marketing
- Previous marketing experience
- Strong marketing analytics experience to measure and monitor campaigns
- A willingness to extend the brands presence creatively
- An ambition to see marketing uphold a strong strategic leadership
- Ability to work independently to own a portfolio of subscription products
- Strong command of the English language
