2014 Production Board Application
Blue Devil Productions Mission Statement:
The purpose of this organization is to serve as the campus-wide programming board by researching, selecting, and producing events and activities for the University of Wisconsin-Stout student body and campus community. BDP provides events and activities to enhance the students' educational experience while at UW-Stout. The membership of BDP shall experience personal growth and leadership development by taking part in researching, selecting, and producing BDP events and activities.
The ten members of the Production Board select and contract performers, design and implement promotional campaigns, provide day of show production and conduct post-event evaluations. All candidates should be energetic, self-motivated, have good communication skills, be able to work as part of the team, and be able to follow through on assigned tasks.
Accepted applicants are committed to one full term of work on the Blue Devil Production Board from January 1st, 2014 to December 31st,2014. (Please note that there will be close to 10 hours of required training before the conclusion of the fall semester, before the current board’s terms end.)
Minimum Qualifications that the Production Board candidates must presently possess and maintain:
•A minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5/4.0 scale
•A minimum academic credit load of six (6) undergraduate or graduate credits per semester at the University of Wisconsin-Stout through December 31st, 2013

Below you will find the ten Production Board positions. Please review the individual job descriptions carefully. If hired, you will be hired for only one (1) position. Please check or rank order the position(s) you would like to apply for. You may select up to three positions at maximum – we do encourage you to rank more than one position. Note: The interview committee will place you in a position best suited to you from your interview, meaning the committee may offer you a different position then what you apply for.

Individual job descriptions are available at bdp.uwstout.edu under “Join.” Applications are due no later than 5:00pm November 15th, 2012. They can be dropped off at the Involvement Center Desk in the Memorial Student Center from November 4th – November 15th,2012. Late applications will not be accepted.
Interviews will be scheduled from November 20ththrough November 22nd. Not all who submit applications will be interviewed. Those interviewed will be notified of their hiring status by November 28th.
