Farewell Judy Miller

Judy Miller, owner and operator of Threads, formally Just Around the Corner, will be moving to Alabama to live with her sister. The Town salutes the good works of Mrs. Miller. She was a volunteerextraordinaire who felt no task was too small or big to serve the citizens of this community. The Ridgeway Merchants invite those who desire to wish Judy a farewell to join them at the Olde Town Hall Restaurant and Pub on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at 6:00 p.m.

Veterans’ Day

We salute our Ridgeway Citizens who have served in the U. S. Armed Forces during peace and war times. We fly the American Flag at Town Hall in your honor this month. Make sure to see the Memorial Day Tribute by a local T.V. station on our website at

Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving Day is a time we set aside to give thanks to our creator, country, family, and friends. William Arthur Ward said, “Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.” Showing our gratitude is very important in human relationships. Share your gratitude this season for someone’s kindness or good deed and certainly for your blessings.

Holidays on the Ridge

December 5, 6, 7, 2014

Holidays on the Ridge will feature shopping, carriage rides, concerts in local churches, Santa and a Movie in the Yard on December 5, 2014 and a full day of shopping on December 6, 2014. The Holiday Parade is on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. If you are interested in participating in the parade, please call Town Hall at 337-2213 or pick up a form in the Welcome Center, Smallest Police Station in Town.
