Reports and Recommendations by Mayor and Officials:
Reports of Officials:
Scott Wahl, Business Administrator reported on November 18, 2014 Wendy Torroni, passed the Municipal Court Administrator’s Written Exam and will be taking the Oral exam on December 12th. He also acknowledged Jackie Ewing from the 7 Mile Business and Community Association for obtaining grant money in the amount $21,250.00 for special event and tourism from the Division of Travel and Tourism. He said thanks to her efforts the total grant allocations to date over $100,000.00. He updated Council on the progress of the property owners with regards to contact deadlines with Channel Marine concerning the dredging the private slips.
Thomas R. Thornton, P.E., Borough Engineer, Hatch Mott Macdonald, LLCreported Channel Marine is making great progress and on average three properties per day are being dredged. He said Mobile will be starting next Monday. He said Hatch Mott is staying on top of the project to protect the integrity of the project and safety of the public.
