CESA 5 is pleased to offer this series of educational workshops designed to strengthen the knowledge of Infinite Campus users. The workshops will provide valuable information on a host of topics. Our experienced trainers will present instructional sessions that will reinforce user skills and enhance their capability to use the Infinite Campus student information system.

  • All workshops are held at CESA 5 626 E. Slifer St.Portage, WI

  • Start and end times are 8:30 – 3:30 pm unless otherwise noted
  • Lunch is provided for full day workshops
  • Cost of each workshop is
  • $400 per person per day for non-CESA5 contract schools
  • 50% discount for participants from a district with a CESA 5 Bronze Value Added contract
  • 75% discount for participants from a district with a CESA 5 Silver/Gold/Platinum Value Added contract
  • A minimum enrollment is required for all workshops, CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel a workshop due to insufficient enrollment

New Administrative Assistant Workshop

August 27, 2010

Users new to student information systems will get a firsthand look and practice at performing the basic functions needed to be a successful user. Samples of topics to be covered are: navigation, student information, attendance, basic ad hoc,

searching and more. Training will become tailored specifically to the attending audience.

New Building Administrators Workshop

Users new to the Admin side of your student information system will get a firsthand look and practice at performing the basic functions needed to be a successful user. Samples of topics to be covered are: navigation, searching, discipline items, stored selections & many more!

All Things Health

September 17, 2010

Users new to the Health side of your student information system will get a firsthand look at the setup the health area, and what goes into being a successful end user. Areas to be covered are medications, conditions – flaggable vs. unflaggable, health office visits, immunizations, screenings and contact log.

WI State Reporting

September 21, 2010

This session will focus on how to enter data into the necessary fields in your student information system for ISES and WSN reports. Use of Campus reports to keep ISES and WSN up to date will also be covered. FAQ’s will be addressed and participants will have the opportunity to ask additional questions. Information will be provided on the DPI changes for these reports. Participants will have time to work on their ISES data for End of Year 09-10 submission.

End of Term/Report Cards Workshop

October 15,2010

Users will learn how to post grades at the end of the grading period, create report cards and transcripts, calculate honor roll and work with transcripted grades to calculate the number of credits completed and the number of credits still needed for graduation.

Accessing Your Infinite Campus Data via AdHoc

This workshop is for the beginner or novice Infinite Campus user who would like to explore the many capabilities that AdHoc Reporting has to offer. Adhoc Reporting may be used to find data relating to students, staff, all people as well as courses. Topics covered will include the Query Wizard, AdHoc Selection Editor and creating AdHoc Filters. The AdHoc Report Designer and Report Builder will also be discussed. Users will be encouraged to share AdHoc tips & tricks that they have found useful when creating and using AdHoc Filters and Reports in their district.

Surveys, Messenger, Oh My

Prepare to Schedule Workshops

January 5thJanuary27th 2011

The workshop will cover creating the new scheduling year, setting up scheduling parameters, and bringing your students into next year Scheduler. Inputting the student course requests for next year will be covered. The workshop will lead into the Scheduling Wizard workshop. The same information will be repeated in the second workshop - we are offering two workshops to accommodate your scheduling schedule.

Scheduling Wizard Workshop/Workday

March 9th 2011 & April 6th 2011

The Schedule Wizard tool is a powerful tool that works to fulfill student requests in a given trial. Users will also learn how to create and move sections in the wizard and load students using a variety of methods as well as using reports to further analyze the results. To get the most of this workshop, attendees are encouraged to have their course requests entered in Infinite Campus prior to attending this workshop.

End of Year/State Report Workshop

June 15, 2011

This workshop will focus on the various state reports that need to be generated at the end of the school year. Reports that can be run to help correct and verify data before the end of the school year will be reviewed. Participants will learn the process of closing out the current school year and getting ready to begin a new school year.
