Ans. Yes, all the MBA Programs offered by PIMR, Indore are Approved by AICTE, New Delhi.

Ans. Yes, PIMR, Indore is Accredited twice consecutively by NACC (UGC) with A Grade.
Q.4 What is the eligibility criteria for MBA admission in PIMR, Indore?
Ans. A candidate seeking admission to MBA Courses should be a Graduate with at least 50% marks and 45% marks in case of SC, ST, OBC (Excluding the creamy layer) category of Madhya Pradesh in aggregate of any UGC / AICTE approved Indian University or from a foreign University recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) or Institute recognized by concerned University as equivalent thereto.The Bachelor’s degree must be of minimum three years duration after passing Higher Secondary (10+2) examination of (10+2) system or equivalent.

Q6. What are the necessary documents required for Admission in MBA Program?
Ans. The following necessary documents will be required at the time of admission.
  • Printout of CMAT Mark sheet (if Applicable).
  • Printout of Allotment Letter.
  • Printout of Documents Verification Letter.
  • Photocopy of Aadhaar Card.
  • Photocopies of 10th Class, 12th Class and Graduation Mark Sheets (Two photocopies).
  • Original Migration Certificate (Not applicable for graduates of DAVV).
  • Domicile Certificate (Compulsory) for MP Domicile Candidates (Two photocopies).
  • Original TransferCertificate (Compulsory).
  • Original Character Certificate.
  • Photocopy of Identity Proof and Address Proof (Aadhar Card, Driving License, Voter Id card, Passport, Bank Passbook, etc).
  • Affidavit for any Gap in continuous education (If required).
  • Affidavit for any change in the Name / Surname (If required).
  • Four Recent Color passport size Photograph.
  • Photo Copy of Caste Certificate (for Reserve category SC / ST / OBC).

Q.6PIMR is an Autonomous Institute. What does Autonomous status mean?

Ans.The institute has been granted autonomous status by UGC considering the credentials and quality education granted over here. Under Autonomous status we design our own syllabus and curriculum as per the industry needs and requirements. The internal assessment components are also designed and revised every year which keep our students ahead of others. We also conduct End Semester Examinations for all our MBA Programs which leads to timely completion of exams and announcements of results.However, the Results and mark sheetsare duly signed by the Registrar, DAVV, Indore. The Degree will be awarded by DAVV, Indore.

Q.7How many specializations are offered in MBA Programs at PIMR?

Ans.PIMR offer MBA Core program dual specialization which gives choice to students in selecting their specialization in Third Semester. Students can select Major and Minor specialization from Marketing, Finance, Human ResourceManagement, Systems Productions & Operations and Entrepreneurship. The first two semesters they have to study all core subjects and in third semester they have to decide their specialization.

PIMR also offers specialized MBA programs for those students who have already decided to take specialization from very first semester and want to excel in that specialization from very first semester. The Specialized MBA Programs offered are:

Q.8 Is there any difference between the Affiliation/Approval, status and fees of MBA (FT) and MBA Specialized Programs?

Ans.No, all our MBA Programs are having same status and having affiliation from DAVV, Indore and approval from AICTE, New Delhi and the fees structure is also same for all MBA Programs and even the same admission process is followed.

Q.9How choice filling is done through online counseling?

Ans.Once you have registered online through DTE Website (dte.mponline.gov.in), followed by Document Verification, you can fill your preference as per your choice. As in the List of Available institutes, you will find Six PIMR, Indore Programs, thus you can fill all programs as per your choice and preference. You can fill as many institute of your choice from the available list of institutes. But Please take care that always put your choice from most preferred to least preferred institutes and courses.

Q.10Is there any Donation or other means to take admission in PIMR, Indore?

Ans. Admission in all our MBA Programs are done by Director Technical Education (DTE) Madhya Pradesh through online counseling. We strictly adhere to the rules and regulations laid down by DTE and AICTE.The Candidate must remain aware and be cautious from Admission agents as all the admission formalities are done online and under strict surveillance of DTE,MP Govt. The admission seats are strictly allotted on the basis of rank formed on the basis of CMAT Entrance exam and thereafter on the basis of Qualifying Examination (Graduation percentage), if seats remain vacant.

Q.11What are the facilities available for students and how many students are there in each section/class?

Ans. Each MBA class or section had a capacity of not more that the 60 Students. All the classes are well equipped with LCD Projectors and AV System (As per Need). The classes contain White board and marker pens are used which make all classes Chalk dust free. Other Facilities includes

Q.12How many subjects are there is each semester of MBA Programs?

Ans.There are four semesters in all MBA programs and each semester has eight subjects. For more details and syllabus review you can visit our library. The institute has adopted a Choice Based Credit Evaluation system which offers basket of interdisciplinary subjects from which a student can choose various subjects as per his/her liking.

Q.13Whether the fee in Refundable in case of admission is canceled?

Ans.The fee is refundable as per DTE and DAVV Norms. The fee will be refunded after deduction of 10% amount only if application for admission cancellation is submitted to account office before the last date of Admission.

Q.14Do the institute provide Bank Loan facility?

Ans.Yes, Institute does assist in getting bank loan. The institute has tie up with Punjab National Bank and Central Bank of India which provides loans if sufficient documentation is done.

Q.15What is the Mode of Payment?

Ans.The fees can be paid online through PayTM, OR offline through Demand Draft (DD) in favor of “Prestige Institute of Management and Research” OR “PIMR” Payable at Indore.

Q.16Is there any scholarship provided to SC/ST/OBC/Jain Minority students?

Ans.Scholarship is provided to SC/ST/OBC/Jain students by state govt. as per Sate Government Norms only to those students maintaining 75% class room attendance. Scholarship will be paid by Government to the eligible students directly in their respective bank account.

Q.17Does the Instituteprovides Placement Assistance?

Ans.Yes, the institute has well equipped and integrated placement cell which works 24/7. Many Multinational and National companies visit the institute for recruiting the students. The Average package provided for 2017-18 batch is 4.6 Lacs and the maximum package was of 12.5 Lacs.Till May 31, 2018 more than 700 students were placed of Current batch. Q.18Are similar opportunities available for MBA (Dual Specialization) and Specialized MBA Program students?

Ans.Yes, as all MBA Programs enjoys the similar status, thus the equal opportunities are available.For e.g. if any Finance company comes for recruitment then Students of MBA(FT) Major Finance and Students of MBA(Financial Administration) are allowed to appear for the recruitment process of the company.Thus, selection is solely based on merit.

Q.19Does institute provide any bus facility?

Ans.No, we do not provide any bus facility in PIMR, PG Campus.

Q.20Does Institute provides Hostel Facility?

Ans.Yes, Institute provides separate boys and girls hostel facility.

Q.21Is there any uniform for MBA Students?

Ans.There is no uniform dress code for students but the students should be dressed decently and always be in formals while attending the institute. However, the Institute Balzer is mandatory for all the students.

Q.22What is the attendance criterion?

Ans.The institute is known for its classroom teaching and learned faculty members. Thus, always strictly adheres to 75% class room attendance. If any students do not maintain the same without any genuine reason, he/she is not allowed to appear in external exam.

Q.23What measures are taken to ensure that any ragging incident does not occur?

Ans.The institute takes extra care so that there is no chance of ragging incident. The institute is under CCTV Surveillance and also formed Anti Ragging Squad and Committees which is responsible for stopping any such incidence.

Q.24Explain the procedure of College Level Counseling?

Ans.The Candidates who have not taken admission in any institute through online counseling process or cancelled their admission can apply for College Level Counseling.

The Process is as follows.

  1. The information will be uploaded on DTE Portal on prior date of CLC.
  2. Admission Advertisement may be published in News Paper(Hindi/English).
  3. The CLCwill take place as per the guidelines of DTE.
  4. First Preference is given to the candidates who have given CMAT entrance exam and thereafter if seats remain vacant then on the basis of Graduation Percentage Merit Basis
  5. In CLC, no reservation criterion is applied/followed.
